The story takes place in Japan during the Edo period and follows the life of the main character, Shiyohana, who works as a skilled shinobi. Her job is to investigate a series of mysterious disappearances of young girls that have taken place in a nearby village. As she delves deeper into the investigation, the trail leads her to the mansion of a powerful clan, and it is here that the true adventure begins.
