Umm, 同人誌(doujinshi) is a term used to refer to whether a work is self published or not, i.e indie or and the Japanese do not use the word hentai to refer to such erotic content, it’s usually the affix “エロ/Ero” added to the type of content. Example エロゲ(Eroge) which stands for Erotic game. Hence manga and doujinshi are different, but using manga to refer to the original source is correct.
